The Terminator Series. (via vampirewritertvd96) Except for Terminator 3, which is partly why I hate it. In T3 the Terminator explains that judgement day is innevitable and it’s John’s destiny or some shit. |
This is a Terminator based fic I wrote a few years ago, after getting back into the fandom after seeing Terminator Salvation (but before I watched the absolutely awesome Sarah Connor Chronicles). Kyle/Sarah is one of my few ships that is hetero AND canon.Title: I am shit at titles so this doesn’t have one.
Author: Gemfyre
Character/Pairing: Kyle/Sarah
Rating: Gen
Warnings: None really.
Summary: Judgment Day truly has been averted, Sarah can’t help herself from checking up on the newborn Kyle Reese once 2007 rolls around.
Disclaimer: Yeah, not mine, obviously. These guys are the brainchild of James Cameron.
Author Notes: Some bits of this were inspired by Lightning by Dean Koontz, and also Pushing Daisies to a small extent - the whole watching people from afar thing. This has not been beta’d. Feel free to constructively criticise!
I enjoyed that :)

I noticed Terminator 2: Judgement Day was on AMC, but it was almost over. So I decided to have a Terminator marathon, because why not?
In my house, we skip T3: Rise of the Plot Holes

Two MSU basketball players raped a woman in the dorms then one admitted to it. Their only consequence was that they had to move out of the dorms. This picture is of me and one other woman holding up this banner during Midnight Madness. Two other brave souls had a banner on the other side for a while before some jerk started playing tug or war with them over it. This was taken before we got booed at by 10,000 people and police escorted from the stadium.
How screwed up are people to boo at this?
Let’s keep reposting this. Rapists should be charged.
I’m an MSU student and Midnight Madness was last fall…i think that they got booed because there is a time and a place for everything and trying to send a message on the same night of a big, fun event that is a big part of campus life is just a bit rude. It’s terrible that that girl got raped, yeah, and if you wanted to hold a protest that is fine too. But what that girl did is basically the same as an atheist protest taking place outside a church right after Sunday morning service.
^ I completely disagree. The fact that those guys got away with it because of their status as athletes to the school is something that shouldnt ever be ignored or swept under the rug even if it is intruding in to an eventful night. Nobody should be so ignorant to put a game over the well being or injustice done to another person. While these athletes get to run around having fun with thousands of fans cheering, that girl has to live with what’s been done to her and has to live with no justice being served to her rapists. What really should have happened is those athletes responsible should have been bood off the courts everytime they played until the school had no choice to expel them.. but wait, that would require people to have some decency and intelligence and morals that interfere with their precious entertainment. I fucking hate people.
With two prequel series of two classic horror movies currently airing to mixed reviews, what better time to reflect on a few examples and pose the question “Prequels, who needs em?”
Hannibal Rising
Gaspard Ulliel’s young Hannibal Lecter sets out for revenge on the murderous soldiers who…
Hannibal has always had a romanticism to him, hence why he’s always jockin’ Clairece. (Forgive the spelling.) He’s always been an antihero as well, and he targets those he finds socially unacceptable and rude. It may have started with revenge, but do you really think it would have quinched the bood thirst he had after killing those men? It may have for a while, but his nature had already morphed him in to something monstrous… I’m sure that in time his inner demons would boil over and he would strike again. At least he has some class ;) Hannibal was still manacing to me. Able to find the kink in anyones armor and hit it with dead on precision. Cold and calculated even at such a young age, not to mention the actor was able to capture all sides of the character and use them to make them believable and intense. So in my opinion, Hannibal Rising was an awesome installment to the series.
